The Sexual Brainwashing of Britain - Crisis Magazine

The Sexual Brainwashing of Britain - Crisis Magazine : We’re coming for your children—and we don’t intend to let you stop us. That is the message parents are increasingly hearing loud and clear from the LGBT activists and sexual revolutionaries tightening their grip on the British education system. For some years now, and especially since the advent of same-sex “marriage” in 2014, schools around …

China: Religious freedom crackdown reaches 'new low point'

Authorities in Jiangsu, China demolished 5,911 'folk belief' temples within one month, according to a report released by the Christian human rights organization ChinaAid on 23 April. The report comes days after a new European Parliament resolution on China which expresses concern about the increasingly repressive treatment faced by religious and ethnic minorities. In 26 days across February and March, 5,911 temples were destroyed as part of a scheme to regulate temples launched by the publicity department in Gaoyou, Jiangsu, according to the ChinaAid report, which describes it as the "largest mass-destruction of such faiths since the Cultural Revolution." Churches, mosques and other places of worship have been demolished or closed down across China amid a nationwide increase in violations of the right to freedom of religion or belief. Following the introduction of revised regulations on religious affairs in February 2018, authorities have forced state-sanctioned

What nuns give up when they take their vows..

What nuns give up when they take their vows.. Galatians 3:28 - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free person, there is not male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. http://www.sistersofmercy.org/become-a-sister/ask-a-sister/ The name in religion, however, is not a tool for hiding the nun behind a borrowed name, analogous to the veil that used to cover most of her face. Rather, it is a go-between, even a stage name for the performance of religious devotion enacted in a theatre hidden behind the convent walls. Nuns themselves testify to the importance of receiving a new name. According to Josette, "You change your name along with your clothing; they go together. You leave behind your old clothes and your baptismal name! The new habit has to go with the new name and it's dramatic, a major break with your previous life."[34] For Sister Madeleine, who works with poor and dispossessed families in Toulouse, "the important thing is t

Flying solo: Life as a single Catholic By Beth Knobbe

Flying solo: Life as a single Catholic By Beth Knobbe Being single doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you—it just means you’ve chosen a different path. Grandma always said, “There isn’t a pot so crooked that you can’t find a lid to fit!” I don’t ever recall my grandmother actually saying this, but when my dad recently repeated this old adage, I laughed so hard I nearly fell off my chair. I was certain that I had heard every well-meaning, backhanded compliment about single people, but this one was new. Thankfully his comment was not directed at me, or any other singles for that matter. Earlier that day, my dad and I had run into a particularly quirky couple, which later evoked a conversation about what it takes to remain faithful despite our imperfections. Married for more than 40 years, my parents certainly know a thing or two about sticking together, which prompted my grandma’s now famous saying about cookware and their complementary covers. I had laughed out loud at th
