SAINT OF THE DAY APRIL 08 ST. DIONYSIUS, BISHOP OF CORINTH Endowed with an admirable knowledge of the Word of God and great eloquence, he became bishop of his city, Corinth. He believed in the primacy of the Church of Rome although in the 2nd century it was not yet established, as evidenced by eight of his letters addressed to as many local churches.
