He came upon a crowded stage in Rome

A jester tamed by Caesar's golden throne
With every jest, he whispered truth untold
In laughter's light, his courage would unfold

Oh, Genesius, the bold and free
You spoke a name that could not be
With every laugh, he lit the flame
A quiet soul, reborn in fame

They chained his hands, they condemned his art
Still in his heart, he played the part
A martyr's gift in joyous pain
He died to free our boundless name

Now hear the hush within the hall
A whispered vow recalls his call
In every broken plea
In chains we cannot see

Oh, Genesius, you set us free

Through jest and truth, eternity
Your final bow still lights the way
We honor you in song today
