St. Flora, Roman Catholic Virgin, Patron of the abandoned, of converts, single laywomen, and victims of betrayal - Feast day is October 5th.

St. Anna Schaeffer, Roman Catholic Laywoman. She was paralyzed during an industrial accident in 1901. From her bed she carried out an apostalate through corresondence. Anna was known for her devotion to the Sacred Heart.

Bl. Alberto Marvelli - Roman Catholic Layman. During World War II, Alberto rescued those being deported by the Nazis to concentration camps by breaking open the locked rail cars to let the prisoners free. Feastday October 5
