Saints Dec. 6 St. Peter Pascual, Roman Catholic Priest and Martyr. he became bishop of Jaen, although the diocese was technically under the dominion of the Islamic Moors. Nevertheless, he preached extensively to promote the Christian faith in Islamic communities and sought to ransom Christian captives being held by Islamic Moorish captors. He was martyred in Granada.
