St. John-Louis Bonnard, Roman Catholic Priest  and Martyr of Vietnam. Born at St. Christot-en-Jarret, France, he became a priest of the Paris Society of Foreign Missions and was ordained in 1850. Sent to western Vietnam, he was arrested in a persecution and beheaded. Feastday May 1
