St. Peter, Roman Catholic Priest and Spainish Martyr with Wallabonsus, Sabinian, Wistremundus, Habentius, and Jeremias. They were put to death in Cordoba at the order of Emir Abd al-Rahman II for preaching against Muhammad. Though most were beheaded, Jeremias was scourged to death. Feastday June 7
