Saint Oliver Plunkett (1 November 1629 – 1 July 1681) was the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland, hanged, drawn and quartered at Tyburn, July 1 Bl. Junipero Serra, Spanish Franciscan friar who founded the first nine of 21 Spanish missions in California from San Diego to San Francisco, At the age of thirty-seven, he landed in Mexico City on January 1, 1750, and spent the rest of his life working for the conversion of the peoples of the New World.
