Pope Approves Beatification of Sister Lucia, the Last of the Three Little Shepherds, Seers of the Virgin of Fatima - ZENIT - English: Sister Lucia died in the smell of holiness in 2005, at the age of 97. Benedict XVI exempted her from the obligation to wait 5 years to start the beatification process. Pope Francis canonized Saint Francis and Saint Jacinta in 2017.
