St. Lucian, Roman Catholic African martyr with Drusus Metrobius, Paul, Theotirnus, and Zenobius. They were martyred at Tripoli, Libya. Feastday Dec.24 ST. IRMA, ABBESS Saint Irma lived between the seventh and eighth centuries, and was abbess of the Benedictine Monastery at Trier. Tradition says she was the daughter of St. Dagobert, King of Austrasia. She helped San Willibrord, the English monk who evangelised Frisia. Dec. 24
